ART - PROCESS OR PRODUCT.
Submitted by Hannah on Tue, 02/23/2010 - 11:44This is what i have learned working with infants, toddlers preschoolers is that they do not need to have a perfect piece of art or craft to take home with them, and show mommy and daddy, this is what i did today. That is not very true, because the beautiful end product of their craft or art was entirely the teacher's piece of art or work.
Problem Solving Through Exploration

It is finding a way to reach a goal that is not immediately attainable. Infants and toddlers are neutral problem solvers because the world is new to them. They show natural curiosity and flexibility as they face new situations. Young children want to find out more about the world they live in - they ask a lot of questions. We at Helping Hannah's along with the parents help these little ones to continue explore by answering questions patiently, time and again.
Today we had a birthday at the day care

Today one of my very first kids that started three years ago turned four. What a great feeling to see him this big ans still with me, It is a great feeling of happiness and satisfaction.
His mom sent cup cakes for everyone, including me..oh yeah i love cup cakes, lots of play dough, stamps for little ones and goodies.
we had so much fun.
New words
Submitted by admin on Mon, 02/15/2010 - 20:50It's so great to see children learning new words everyday. They are so adorable when they say something for the first time. Today I asked one of the kids to get me something and when she brought it to me she said "Here ya go." IT made my day - because it was the first time I had ever heard her say it.
